My Son is one month old - when did that happen - everyone is so right - the time does fly by - he is getting so big too. He had his one month well visit yesterday - he is now 10 pounds and 22 inches long - he got one shot and did well.
I feel like I live at Babies R Us now - we are there at least once a week - if not more. I am still not driving - I did try to drive this past weekend but it was still sore for me to do. I am feeling much better but I have to admit - trying to sit completely upright on hard surfaces is not easy - I am still tender - not sore or in pain but just uncomfortable - I hope this feeling goes away soon. I have my 6 week check up on the 27th.
We have our first real outing on the 26th - I am the godmother to one of my friend children and so we will be going to the church as a family and then there is an after party - with tons of people there who are going to want to hold Colin - I hope I do okay - I am sure he is ready but I am not - I just do not want him passed all around.
My SIL was due with her son on the 18th but she still has not gone into labor yet. I am finding that staying home is not all that boring - it is amazing how much stuff needs to get done during the day - I wonder how I ever did all this work around the house while working full time.
We had Colin's one month photo shoot on Saturday - the photographer came out to the house and Colin did really well - it only took one hour - I cannot wait to see the finished product - I should get the photos back in about two weeks.
Here is some new pictures of Colin:

He is precious!!!!! I hope you continue to get better.
Just be honest with people about not wanting to pass him around...we did that with our 3 week old when my Dh's grandmother died. We did not bring him to the service but the family lunch afterwards. Everyone respected us.
I hope the pain quickly fades now. I took a 14-hour flight when our son was 6 weeks old, and while I was thankfully feeling a ton better, it was still difficult.
I can't believe he is a month old already! I love seeing all his pictures. Many blessings to you!
