Here are some of the pictures of the design I want to create. I want to paint the main wall a deep purple with the other 3 walls a light light purple with green accents including lamps and painted furniture.

My First Design Homework Assignment
I was told to take a picture from nature and develop a color scheme based on the picture along with creating a ficitious client. So I decided to to a girls bedroom - more like a teen bedroom. My client is a girl that is 14 year old - moving from a childs bedroom to a more adult bedroom.

So what do you think - would you like this room if you were a 14 year old girl?? I hope my teacher thinks this is okay - this is my first attempt at anything like this and she did not give us much direction.

I love that color combo... good work lady! I am so jealous you get to do these classes, it sounds amazing.
I love it!!! I seriously am going to show it to my step daugher, maybe we can update her room! :) (she's almsot 12), and her room is sea foam green, bright blue, with pink curtains... her Dad let her pick her paint colors... when she's not here... i just close the door!
Love it! As a 13 yr old moving into a "adult room" I choose purple and green! I had the most awesome purple carpet (well, ok it was the 90s so it was awesome then, ha)! I love the vanity you choose - it's PB right? I am coveting some pieces right now from them.
