I went to my OB appointment today and I have made no progress - the baby has not dropped, I have not dilated and my cervix is still long and closed. I am frustrated - because before they said they did not want me to go a day past 39 weeks due to all the problems I was having with his heart rate - but now that he is holding steady - they want to push my induction back since I have made no progress.
My induction is now set for January 24th - which is only two days before my due date. I have another OB appointment on the 18th to check and see if I have progressed at all - they are really hoping at least my cervix starts to soften.
The plan as of right now - is OB appointment on 18th - then if everything stays normal with Colin at the NST then I will be induced on January 24th - I will go in the hospital in the evening on the 24th - I will be given Cevadil to soften my cervix and then the following morning I will be given pitocin.
I just want this all over and done with - I want him here and healthy.

Oh girlie, I feel ya! I remember those feelings all too well! I hope he surprises everyone and shows up soon!!
That would be so frustrating for them to change their minds like that! Why did they get your hopes us!?! Just rude. IF or not pregnancy is hard and I'm sure you are just so ready to meet your sweet little guy. Hang in there, you are almost there!!

I remember that feeling as well...it's nice to be pregnant..but to be so close to holding your miracle...seems so far away...LOL
Hope you make some progress soon. I didn't have Cameron till 39w3d...I was more than ready...LOL
