I am still sick - I am getting worse so I called my PCP today and told him and he said I need to go see a gastrointestinal doctor and gave me two names and told me to make an appointment for today or tomorrow - well I called both doctors and they could not see me to at least August - so I called my PCP back and told him and he said hold on a second and somehow got me an appointment for tonight at 5 pm. I am nervous and scared - obviously it is something serious for my PCP to pull strings to get me seen today. I hope everything turns out okay - I just want to start feeling better.
Then I get another blow this morning - my RE called me and apparently I have a blood clotting disorder. I have to go see a hematologist before I start cycling again. I am beyond upset about this because now all I can think it my miscarriage was not bad luck - or that it just happened - no it was my fault.

First, I'll be praying that the doctors know just what to do for you tonight.
Second, I have a friend who is in a similar situation as you. I myself have suffered three miscarriages and we have all gone through those periods of feeling like it's our fault that we suffered a loss. The good news is that the doctors can help you overcome this news & you will get through it - I promise. It's difficult, but you can overcome and you will. Be strong & rest assured, knowing that your RE wants to help you succeed!
It is NOT your fault. I'll be praying for you, that God sends you peace and comfort...and that you'll be able to trust Him to carry you though, even though your going through such a scary time!! I have a friend that found out she had a clotting disorder and she was devistated, but the blessing was that she was able to get pregnant on her own as SOON as she started medication for it! I'll be praying for your results, and that everything works out and that you are blessed!
even if the clotting disorder did cause your miscarriage it is still not you fault. It's not like you knew.
The good news? Now you know and you can do something about it. Think of this as a wonderful gift...a chance at real hope. I think this information is a good thing. A wonderful thing. An answer. So many things are unknown with IF. We would all kill for an answer.
I don't think it's your fault at all, and I am GLAD they found it before you went ahead with transfer. Docs don't routinely test for clotting disorders either before you've had a miscarriage anyways. I am sorry to hear that you're not feeling well and did not get good news. However, it will be easier to fight the battle with all of the relevant information you need. I am thinking of you...

I'm so sorry you are feeling worst! I hope you can get answers from the GE dr. I will be praying for you.
With my recent IVF cycle, my RE put me on Lovenox (it's a blood thinner shot for blood clots), given my history of miscarriages. I was never official diagnose with a blood clotting disorder, but I believe the Lovenox played a role in my BFP. It's still so early, but I keep praying that it will continue to progress.
It is not your fault at all. I think it's good that they found out now, BEFORE you cycled again about the blood clotting disorder. I am praying for you!!
I really hope your appointment is usefull and they can help you.
Sorry to hear about your clotting disorder, but this does not mean your misscarriage was your fault, they did not pick up on this before your cycle.
Hope you feel better soon.

Oh Jackie, the m/c was not your fault no matter what the reason for it was. They can theorize that sometimes clotting disorders cause miscarriages but at the end of the day no one has any idea if that is the exact reason you miscarried. It may end up being a minor disorder that you only need to take baby aspirin for or you may end up on shots but the important thing is that you know now and can use that info for your FET. I blamed myself forever for my miscarriages since they were most likely a result of my bad eggs but you know at the end of the day no one really knows why they happened, and beating myself up about it didn't help anyone. ((huge hugs))
I hope the GI can get to the bottom of why you are not feeling better tonight and can get you on the path to wellness ASAP!
Praying for you and your doctors. You poor thing! You have quite enough on your plate without all of this. Update when you can!
Oh I hope you got some answers finally last night! You need to get to feeling better soon!
I have a blood clotting disorder. Did they say thrombiphilia or MTHFR? I am just on baby aspirin and Lovenox to treat it. The Lovenox is another shot to the belly, but is very little pain and you get used to it. I guess as used to shooting up your belly as you can :O)
