I had a pretty good weekend. I was even able to go out with some friend on Sat - I have been cooped up in the house every weekend for the past month or so - it was so nice to get out. The only problem is with food. We went over their house and they order pizza and wings - the only thing I can think to get was a grilled chicken salad - it was okay - but the pizza looked so good. How do people who change their diets and lifestyles handle these types of situations?
I have a call into both my PCP and my GI doctor - I really do not think they are going to be of any help to me though. I e-mailed the wellness center in my area to see if they can help me - I have not heard back from them yet. I am calling a place I found today to set up an appointment to talk to someone - I think that will really help too - so I am moving along.
I am feeling pretty good (knock on wood) I still wake up feeling like crap - but that only last for a little while and then I am okay for the rest of the day - which makes me so happy.
Oh and the exciting news - we booked a trip to the beach for Sept. It is just a long weekend but I am so happy we are going to get away - I really need this - now the thing I am most concerned about is eating - boardwalk food is never healthy so I am hoping to find some options and bring some food with me. I cannot wait to smell the ocean water and have the sand between my toes!!

I love the beach in September! We are going also. I hope it does wonders for you. But oh yes, boardwalk food... that is tough.
