6 weeks today

I am feeling pretty good. I only really feel sick in the morning on the way to work and after I eat my lunch for some reason.

I am looking forward to my ultrasound on Tuesday. I have to ask my RE when I will be released so that when I go to my OB on the 10th for my HINI shot that I can make my first OB appointment when I am there. I do not really like my OB - but he is so close to my house - I would rather see one of his partners but how do you leave a doctor and go with his partner in the same building??

I got some Christmas shopping done last night - I should be done by the weekend - I have alot I want to do this weekend - I want to start wrapping, get the Christmas cards written out and decorate the outside of the house. Well John will do the decorating and will point out where everything goes. I also want to go to honeybaked ham and order our Christmas ham. Lots to be done.

About switching docs- just do it! You just ask to be scheduled with Dr. XYZ instead of doctor ABC. Even if it did rub Dr. ABC the wrong way who cares? Besides, I don't think it does too much. As long as the practice is still making your money... that's all that matters to them. I've worked for large multi-dr practiecs before and they realize that different patients prefer different dr. personalities. We had patients switch all the time. But for sure don't go a whole 9 months seeing a doc you don't like! Especially after IF! You want to make this pregnancy experience as fabulous as possible! :)
Hooray for your ultrasound soon!

I think that if you don't like you current OB....SWITCH!!! He'll get over it. It's most important to go to someone you LIKE and trust!!! :)

Sorry to hear that you've been feeling sick....hope that it doesn't last much longer.

Looking forward to your update after your appt on Tues!!

Can't wait to hear an update on Tuesday! Sorry for all the morning sickness, though!

I'm with the other ladies on this...if you're not comfortable with your doctor, SWITCH. You'll probably feel much better in the long run! I completely understand the concerns about the actual process of switching, though!
