Bleeding Scare
I had a bleeding scare on Sunday night - it was horrible - I thought I was losing the baby - it started on Sunday night around 10 pm - it was bright red blood - I cried all night long and did not sleep a wink - by morning it had turned to brown blood but was still coming - I called out of work and as soon as my RE office open I called them and they said to come right in - I rush over there and they did an ultrasound and everything looked good with the baby - the baby was measuring normal and the heart was beating. They do not know why I was bleeding but they said I need to take it easy from now on and rest as much as possible. Which is not going to be easy this time of year but my husband is basically going to take everything over. The household chores - finishing the shopping - hosting the Christmas party and making sure my brother and his family are entertained and comfortable. The RE said I had to stay in bed until the bleeding stopped - it stopped around 6 pm last night - I took off of work again today - just to make sure. This is my warning to slow down - I was so very scared. The most important thing now is this baby and I am going to to everything I can to keep the baby safe. The RE said if it happened again I will need to be on bedrest for 4 days. I was suppose to be released from him today but because of the bleeding I have another appointment next week. I just pray this never happens again.

Saying a prayer for you and sweet baby.
I'm so sorry for the scare, but very glad everything is ok. I had a couple scares early on and am still pregnant - I hope you don't have any more bleeding and everything is ok.
You could have just had one of those little blood pocket cysts that occur b/c of where the baby implants...
I had that. Although, I never did end up bleeding, but most women do when it bursts.
I think you'll be smooth sailing from here on out!
I am saying a prayer for you and the little one. Take it easy, my girlfriend had to go to the DR several times for bleeding and she is 36 weeks with a healthy little girl on the way!
That must have been so scary. I hope you are ok now and all remains well. Take care x
Oh that is awful! Hopefully it will not happen again. Take it easy and try to rest.
(((HUGS)))
Scary!!! I'm glad it has finally stopped and that your emergency appt showed Baby is still good. Take is super easy and I hope you have no more scares like this!
That must have been so scary for you! I'm glad that everything is okay and I'm praying for you and your baby. Don't worry at all about anything that you have to do - the only thing that matters is keeping your baby safe. If things don't get done, well then, they just don't get done.
SOOOO Scary!! Glad that things are ok with you and the baby!! Slow down, Girl!! :)
Someone already mentioned it, but it could be a subchorionic hematoma. I had a small one that didn't really cause a whole lot of bleeding for me, but other women bleed throughout the first trimester and sometimes longer as it slowly expels itself. I wonder if it is possible that they wouldn't have been able to see yours on the ultrasound.
That's so scary. Really hoping that you don't have any more scares.
I hope you don't have any more bleeding scares. Sending my best to you and the baby.
I also had a bleeding scare around the same time as you did and my twins are now well and keeping me up at night.
you're right though - it is scary as hell and a huge wake-up.
all the best to you
