I got my flu shot and my HINI shot at the OB office today. I was so nervous about getting them but they are done now.
I am already not liking my OB office. I need to make my first OB appointment so I figured I would do it while I was there - so I go to the front desk and tell the girl I liked to schedule my first OB appt - and she said I that I needed to call - and that most people called to make an appoitnment - and I said why - I am here now - she said oh you are coming from a fertility doctor and said it like it was a bad thing and she she would have to call me back tomorrow with a date and time - WTF - this is so silly. I can tell I am already not going to like it there - this is my first child and I know they deal with this all the time - but I do not and I would like some compassion.
7 weeks today - feeling pretty good - the sick stomach feeling as not gotten any worse which I am happy about and hope it stays that way. I am super tired all of the time.

Yippie! 7 weeks! I am 15 this week, and every week it just gets better and better. I remember scheduling my first OB appointment too and all the excitement that goes along with it, sorry that receptionist lady sucked!
Just make sure to ask for extra samples of the prenatal vitamins (i did and so far I haven't had to buy any and they are expensive).
The receptionist seems a cow! Hope you just caught her on a bad day. So silly that you have to call when you were right there!
7 weeks already! Yay! Pleased the sick feeling has not got any worse
Take care x
Yay for 7 week! I'd get a new OB fast :( Hope you find someone you like! I love my OB, but her nurse not so much; and just for that I'm considering switching (since the RN is who I deal with most our of office). I want everything about this process to be fabulous for me!
That is totally crazy. Maybe she needs a good kick in the butt! Have you considered switching OB's. Does your RE have anyone they would recommend. 9 months is a long time to be with a practice you don't like.
Congrats on being 7 weeks!!
I would switch OBs. You will be there a lot and maybe even calling to ask your dr questions. What hospital are you delivering at?
Ugh! I totally understand your frustration with your OBs office!! Sometimes it feels like nurses and receptionists at doctor's offices are heartless. I hope it turns out the be better than you expect!! Congrats on 7 weeks!! :)
