I went in to see the RE again on Thursday and everything is getting better - the baby looked great - the blood mass is getting smaller and absorbing back into my body which is exactly what the RE wanted it to do. I still have to take it easy - which means my poor house is suffering - no clean house for me anymore - but keeping this baby safe and healthy is the most important thing to me now. I can go back to work on Monday but I must rest as much as possible. Which is going to be easy for me since I am so tried all of the time. I go back to the RE for what is hopefully going to be my graduation day on Thursday of next week - I will be 11 weeks that day. The next day is my first OB appointment and I have to call and set up my NT scan. Never a dull moment.
In other news - we just found out that my SIL - John youngest sister is pregnant too - she is about a month behind me - I am excited now my baby will have a cousin to play with that is his or her age.
My friend Joanne offered to throw me a baby shower at her house - with the help of my SIL Karen - which I thought was so nice.
Happy 2010 everyone!!

Yay for being off bedrest. Keep resting though...the housekeeping can wait. This baby is much more important!
I'm so glad you are graduating and that the blood mass is shrinking. Can't wait to hear about the OB appt
Just letting you know, I had the SAME bright red bleeding at 8 weeks. I was convinced my pregnancy was over too!!
I am now 20 weeks and doing FINE. Baby is kicking away and I am loving every minute of it.
I am sure everything will be fine with your little one as well.
Good Luck and all the best to you in 2010!!!
